Casa Maravillosa is a 3-bedroom, 3-bath private home with attached garage and all of the amenities needed for a comfortable quiet stay in paradise. Our spacious bedrooms all have mini-split air conditioning units for maximum comfort while two also have small private terraces. However, if you open the doors to the sound of the waves and the fresh ocean breezes you can probably forget all about the air conditioning! We have just completed a kitchen upgrade that will inspire you to take a trip downtown to el mercado (the market) to buy fresh local produce and even fresher fish caught the very same day! Our large “common area” terrace is connected to the kitchen, making it hard to resist blending a margarita, mashing up some authentic guacamole and settling into one of the hammocks or our built-in sofas for a leisurely afternoon capped off with a spectacular sunset over the bay.
It’s all about location, location, location! Casa Maravillosa is perched above Zihuatanejo Bay, just a few minutes walk to two of the most popular local swimmer’s beaches. From our prime spot, you have a commanding view of the entire bay leading out to the Pacific Ocean, downtown Zihuatanejo and the surrounding Sierra Madre mountains. If you can pull yourself from the hammocks on our terrace, take a boogie board down to Playa la Madera for an afternoon of catching the waves, playing in the sand and watching the school children take a refreshing dip in the water after classes. Stroll in the other direction and spend the day at Playa la Ropa, a 3/4 mile stretch of white sand that is dotted with beach restaurants, a yoga studio, hotels, massage tents and water sports operators that offer parasailing, jet ski & catamaran boat rentals, innertube and “banana boat” rides and fishing excursions.
Zihuatanejo Centro is a 15 minute walk from Casa Maravillosa and there you will find more restaurants, an artisan’s market, our town square at la cancha (the basketball courts), shops and plenty to see and do while you wander around. Zihuatanejo is the number one return destination in Mexico. We think one reason this is true is because you really can make your vacation whatever you want it to be. With nearby surf beaches & lazy lounging beaches, night clubs in Ixtapa and strolling troubadours in Zihuatanejo, gourmet restaurants and taco stands, there is something for everyone. We think Casa Maravillosa is the perfect place to start the day and fall asleep at night to the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks below. What you do in between is all up to you!

Rates & Rental Policies
Our flexible rates are determined by the number of guests and length of stay. The nightly rate for 2 people begins at $200 USD per night. Extra guests cost $20 to $50 per person, per night. Regardless of the number of guests, every 7th night is free.
Nightly rates include free local phone calls, satellite TV, wireless internet, use of our washer & dryer and housekeeping fees.
All guests are met by our bilingual manager who will provide you with a 24-hour emergency contact number and assist you with any concerns or questions you have.
Discounts are available for long-term rentals. Please inquire for our monthly and green season rates.
A $250 USD security deposit is required for all rentals.
